Empowering local innovation: training modules for sustainable initiatives.
RES-MAB is an international project funded by the European Union through the PRIMA Foundation. Its main objective is to enhance the resilience of Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves to the challenges posed by climate change. To achieve this, the project transforms seven biosphere reserves into Living Labs, where innovative solutions based on the WEFE Nexus approach (Water, Energy, Food and Ecosystems) are designed, tested, and implemented. This integrated approach promotes the sustainable management of natural resources while strengthening the adaptive capacity of both territories and their communities.
Within this project, the Alto Bernesga Biosphere Reserve leads Work Package 6 – Capacity Building, which focuses on strengthening local capacities and providing training for stakeholders across the territory. The aim of this work package is to equip entrepreneurs, local authorities, associations, and other stakeholders with the knowledge, tools, and methodologies needed to develop sustainable and innovative initiatives based on the WEFE Nexus approach.
As part of this work package, this online training programme has been developed. It consists of five short training modules covering the key stages of the entrepreneurial process.
